Preparation:

The extraction method uses the mixed rare earth obtained by decomposing the ore, and the rare earth nitrate solution with the removal of cerium as the raw material. The extraction grouping is used to obtain the yttrium-rich rare earth. After being dissolved in acid, the yttrium is extracted and purified. Heavy rare earths enter the organic phase, and then extract the thulium and lutetium into groups, use hydrochloric acid back extraction to make the thulium and ytterbium enter the aqueous phase, after separation, further use the hydrochloric acid back extraction to make the lutetium enter the aqueous phase, and then precipitation, filtration, and calcination with oxalic acid to obtain Lutetium oxide
